Our school is part of Christopher Nieper Education Trust (CNET) a registered charity and company limited by guarantee and as such is governed by Members, Board of Trustees (the “Trust Board”) and Academy Governing Boards (AGBs).
The Trust Board is responsible for the strategic direction, finances, and statutory responsibilities across all schools in the Trust.
Academy Governing Boards (AGBs) are responsible for supporting and challenging school leadership to ensure high standards of education, safeguarding, and wellbeing at a local level.

The Academy Governing Boards (AGB) main responsibilities include:
The AGB does not manage the day-to-day running of the school; this is the responsibility of the Headteacher and leadership team.

Individual governors take on specific monitoring roles, including:
These roles help Governors develop a deeper understanding of key areas of school life and provide effective challenge and support.

Governors attend regular Academy Governing Board meetings and training provided by the Trust.
